Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition (IEMCC)

The IEMCC is one of the most authoritative international moot court competitions, which is held at Stetson University in Tampa, Florida, U.S.A. Teams from all over the world participate in the IEMCC. This moot court judges the abilities of jurists through the International Environment Law. In partnership with the IEMCC of Stetson University, the East Asian Regional Rounds (EARR) is to be held at Soongsil University in Korea. In 2021, for the tenth EARR, it will be held with the topic "Protected Areas and Armed Conflict".

East Asian Regional Rounds (EARR) 2021-2022

The East Asian Regional Rounds is hosted by Soongsil University College of Law. This year's competition is to be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from November 23rd to 27th, 2021. The EARR offers students from Asia or world the opportunity to sharpen their abilities, to think with a legal mind, to learn about the international environmental law, and to foster international cooperation. In addition to preliminary and final matches for competition, the EARR host lots of events including international conference, parties, banquets, and Seoul Tour for foreign students. Due to pandemic, this year's events will take place online and offline together. Teams from East Asia should compete in the EARR to qualify for the International Finals at Stetson University, Florida, U.S.

대한민국 최초로 개최된 국내 유일의 국제 모의재판

매년 3월 혹은4월 미국 플로리다 주 소재의 스텟슨 대학에서 개최되는 국제환경법 모의재판 경연대회는 가장 권위 있는 국제 모의재판 대회 중 하나로서 전세계의 각 지역 예선을 통해 수십 개의 팀들이 참가하여 국제환경법을 매개로 국제법률가로서의 능력을 경쟁하게 됩니다. 숭실대학교는 스텟슨 대학과의 파트너십 협약에 따라 스텟슨 국제 환경법 모의재판 동아시아 경연대회를 개최합니다. 올해로 열 번째 대회인 스텟슨 국제 환경법 모의재판 동아시아 경연대회는 “Protected Areas and Armed Conflict (보호 구역과 무력분쟁)”이라는 주제로 개최됩니다.

숭실대학교에서 개최되는 스텟슨 국제환경법 모의재판 동아시아 경연대회는 올해 서울에서 2021년 11월 23일 화요일부터 11월 27일 토요일까지 개최됩니다. 스텟슨 국제환경법 모의재판 동아시아 경연대회는 아시아 학생들의 능력을 향상시키고, 법적 사고를 가지고, 국제법과 환경법에 대해 배우고 국제교류를 증진할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다. 숭실대학교에서 개최되는 스텟슨 국제환경법 모의재판 동아시아 경연대회에서는 예선전과 결승전을 포함해 국제 컨퍼런스, 파티, 만찬, 그리고 서울투어와 같은 프로그램을 진행합니다.동아시아의 팀들은 미국의 스텟슨 대학에서 열리는 본선 참가를 위해 숭실대학교 동아시아 경연대회를 거쳐야 합니다.
